The above article states that the T68 = T68i simply because its jus a name for the upgraded T68 or simply a T68 with MMS installed. Wat Deadman showed us about the T68i with the new cover might jus well be the prototype and as far as it seems it might not make it into production till SE confirms it.
As for the debate over the memory of both the phones is the same. In the article no hardware upgrade was mentioned. Is jus that how the memory are manage by the user, e.g if the user store less emails he/she would be able to store more background pics. In the article this line 'Another significant improvement is the addition of User Memory.' does not mean that the phone gets a upgrade of hardware, it only means that the menu 'User Memory' is added to the phone software ... jus another new feature. |

kimmjio > Yes I read this article a while ago,..and that states that the "i" is just the mms-software-upgrade,..nothing else.
According to that article, the T68i is just a T68m with mms-software,..thats it

Yep,..people do get exited and jumpy, hehe.
For all we know, this "famous" T68i could be a prototype, simply a testing-platform.
I mean, no one knows for sure.
Another funny thing : people are so stressed out about the mms-software, whether we will get it, can it be used in our phones ?? and so on.....
I dont really understand why,
Ericsson told from the beginning that we would get the software.
And people were never THAT worried during all the other upgrades. Its this MMS-thing thats getting to them
Believe its a "MMS-syndrome" hehe.

Well if it IS a prototype, it would still be cool to have, wouldn't it??? I've been thinking of flying to Hungary to get one and then if it ISN'T released, it'll be a pretty neat phone to have.... |

Well, I dont like it,..think it looks like a cheap plastic-phone,..so even if its a production-model, I wouldnt want to have it
thats just my honest opinion.
Some like it, some dont
