More info from http://press.nokia.com/PR/200303/894892_5.html. The rumours, that Nokia will not introduce any new GSM phones, appeared to wrong (not suprised). |

Not impressive stuff...
If you are worried about SE's design then just take a look at these phones

A SUCCESSOR FOR N-GAGE?
You daft twit. 3300 is a completely different purpose device.
3300 = "mass market" small size Series 40 music phone with an MMC slot for music, not many extra features over other S40 phones
N-Gage = larger size Series 60 Symbian entertaining device with special game cards and PDA functions for game geeks, music being only a sidekick
Put short: 3300 is smaller, simplier and cheaper than NG and its for a different purpose. Dont let the similar looks fool you.

@Flying Finn
Acording to mobil.se the 3300 will cost 6000SKR, thats abot 670 Euro, so it's not a mass market product
Btw was that all that nokia is going to release in cebit? |

mobil.se?
LOL, Nokia CEO Anssi Vanjoki himself said the price will be "towards the lower end of colour screen phones", my guess is around 300 euro.
From Nokias to an SE to whatever. |

Well, according to the pressrelease the 3300 uses a 128x128 pixels 4096 colour screen which would hint that it actually uses series 60. Which would indicate that it is very similair to the N-Gage
The 6620 looks like a standard Nokia stunt. Take an earlier phone (7250) add some small stuff (EDGE could be nice though at least for the N. America people) and change the design.. and then you have a new phone. Just like they did with 7210 - 6610...
I think that the 4096 colour display will seem a bit too low in Q3 this year, at least when you see what the rest of the manufacturers are releasing.
BTW the Nokia chatpen is also an Anoto product just like the SonyEricsson version which has been available for quite some time now.

Wrong. A 128x128 pixels screen = Series 40(NOT Symbian) like the 7210, 6610, 3300 etc.
Series 60(Symbian) = 176x208 pixels like the 7650, 3650 and N-Gage.

And how is it going to work??? Via cable??? Cuz God knows how great Nokia Bluetooth products are!!!:lol::lol:
The new line-up is funky looking. I wouldn't buy any of them... but I'm sure a lot of kids will... whether it be the N-gage or the 3300.
Just curious... what's the 810?? Is that supposed to be a car phone or something?
The business line-up is so-so... power users will go for the T610 over the 6220 or 6100. Average business people would go for the 6220 or 6100.
could easily capture the entry level market if they could've priced the T300 or T310 to compete against the 2100. I know they're a different class... but if you had to choose between a 2100 or the T300... even if you were a Nokia user... at the same price, the T300 would be the sure win. I just hope they figure something out with their entry-level prices. doesn't seem to push their entry level phones that much...they should. It's what could make or break

There's quite a lot of new stuff in 6220 that hasn't been in other Series 40 phones before. It has WAP 2.0/XHTML, voice memo and dialling, video playback, 100kb MMS message size... |
