I have found a new ringtone website, lots of poly ringtones, 25p for 12 hours access, charged to you phone bill, you even get £1 free credit with Bango.net

No offence m8 but why in gods name woud we pay for ringtones when theres so many free sites html/wap out there ey :)

Free Polyphonic ringtone sites will not last long if they're as good as Marks, if that was free it would require so much bandwidth, it's got thousands of quality tones! I had a free Poly site but my bandwidth was eaten in 3 days (3Gb!). Whats 25p for unlimited access to thousands of ringtones??? |

I agree with the bandwidth and charge issue, same thing happened with the BIGJOBS wapsite... But what if we are in another country like here in the Philippines where our network providers offer only cheesy ringtones? The only option we have here is to search for wapsites where we could download for free and they offer good ringtones :-) please correct or enlighten me with this issue. Thanks!

I guess you've got a point, charging does limit who can access the content. Does anyone have any ideas how this could be overcome? I'm sure you guys in the Philippines would be willing to pay for quality content if I was cheap and easy.... |

I agree again with you mate :-) if and when that time comes it would be no problem for a lot of users to pay such a small fee to access good quality sites, but for now i'm glad that there are free sites out there-the question is until when will they be free? :-)

@vamp, thanks! My question is this: will polyphonic tones made for the 7650 work with the t300 and p800? Coz i found around 3 more wapsites with polyphonics for the 7650. I'd be glad to post them here if it would work :-D

Yes, many wap users don't appreciate bandwith, if a site is any good, then everyone hits it and your bandwith goes bust, I posted a link to a very good Sharp GX10 site and bust his monthly bandwith in 12 hrs. |

@vampyriaerotica, got ur pm mate. I've tried the pravada again, it works now. They reformatted their site to include polyphonics for SE phones. Sad to say the sisters of mercy ringtones were for the 7650 only. I had the notion that those tones could be used for SE phones, my mistake, sorry :-(
