Im at Diamond Bar CA, recently purchased Cingular prepaid and Im having a hard time to get a signal inside our house.  |

As of now, there is no competition yet (I think). It'll be just base on where you live. But I've heard rumors that Cingular & AT&T are planning on converting their nationwide networks to GSM. |

dimension, yes AT&T are creating a nationwide GSM network and so is Cingular. Whether they will discontinue their old network I don't know but eventually they will have no choice. As far as I know, AT&T now has GSM coverage in all the biggest US cities and will complete their GSM network in Hawaii later this year. Voicestream look out!!! I am sure Sprint will have to come up with a solution drastically to stay in the game. |
