Hi,

I'm planning on buying the P800 since I find the mp3 function very useful. my only concern are the headphones that are included in the package. Do they really provide good sound quality since I own the mp3 player for the T68 and the sound quality of those haedphones is just appalling... unfortuanately it's not possible to use 3,5mm headphones on the p800, is it?

Thanks for your help!

I qould compare them to a set of £15 earphones, they certainly arn;t bad for most people, but if you're used to some £30 earphones you'll notice the difference.

I've bought a little adapter from Maplin that allows you to plug in headphones with a 3.5mm jack into the 2.5mm socket. It didn't work with my 8310, but it works perfectly with the P800 - I could plug in my full ear headphones if I wanted to.

I think these adapters cost about £1.

is this adapter any good? I can image that with the adapter in place, the phone will be quite unpleasant to carry in your pocket?

With the case i carry round my P800 in (nokia CNT-68) that adaptor would be fine - though i'm sticking with the included headphones for the moment, i don't find them too bad.

That's massive, it almosts doubles the width of the phone - there is no way that could fit in my pocket.

And anyway, what happens when you receive a call? The normal head phones act as a hands free, so do you need to take them out or what?
