I have browsed through the P800 forum, without getting any answers. Please forgive me if this question has been asked a thousand times already.
I tried to send emails to my mates today (about seven people) using the email client on the P800. This is basically what happened:
1. I clicked "Send"
2. Chose to send it immediately
3. The phone made an GPRS connection
4. A connection to the mail server was made
5. I got an error message back saying something along the lines of "Invalid e-mail address in the To, Cc or Bcc field"
I checked all the email addresses, but couldn't find anything wrong. I also tried with a different e-mail account, but with the same result. Then I tried splitting the recipient list between the "To" and "Cc" fields - and it worked!
It seems like this might be due to a restriction on the e-mail server, but I can send emails to the same seven people from my PC (same account). Any ideas? |
