Bought a P800 at the weekend from Orange, everything working except I cant access WEB using GPRS. As soon as I press the internet button I get "there was an internal error 257"
I tried the wap.sonyericsson.com site and ws sent a configuration text message but this is making no difference even though I selected the new settings.
Can anyone help? |

Hey surfmonkey,
You need to call Orange Fax & Data on 156 from your phone. They will activate the facility on your account. You then need to make sure you've selected GPRS-GPRS or Orange GPRS as the default GPRS account and away you go...

I had the very same problem, you need to talk to orange, although it took 4 or 5 days for their technical department to sort it out for me.
