only bad thing is that p 800 has ir on left side, not on the front like 7650 and you wil have to turn it when switching channels

the only thing is that the P800's infra red port is for data and so it may be limited to 4,5 feet from tv! which would be a shame (im going by my sony clies info on the tv infra red)

Hi all,

I got the alpha through from them today so I will test the range tonight. It may depend on what chip they have use for infrared. The LOOX had a max range of 2 metres, but one model of IPAQ (cant remember which one) had a range of 10 metres.

The P800 has two leds for infrared so I dont know whether they are any better than the usual one.

Will let you guys know tonight if no one else does.

I'm also a beta or even alpha tester and I use it on a Philips tv and get a very good signal from about 5 meters
