My T300 can't download polytones or pic from wap except for imy's, pls help |

Hi, I just got myself a brand new T300.
The problem is that I can't download anything trough GRPS except for imelody's which i don't want!! I need some cool polytones!
Is this a common problem with T300 phones?
Don't tell me that T300 can downlload using Ir only!!
If that's the case this SE should cut off the GPRS function.
With my T68i, I can download any pic or tone via GPRS with no problem. But this phone just dissapoints me!!
Anyone can help me with this problem, maybe any T300 users reading this! do you encounter the same problem?
For you info guys, the firmware is R1D011.
And the Gprs settings are just fine!
Any help would realy be great.....

Sorry, I can't help.
When I was using GPRS I could download polyphonics, images, games and anything I wanted.
It must be something with your phone or your network. |

prob your network...? Check out http://www.kidnappedtoys.co.uk on you phone via WAP I know for sure the sample tones there work on the T300 |

You can try and direct your wap browser to this:

That one worked fine for me at least.

I think there are a download limit on some networks. For example you cant download files larger than 3 kb or something like that.

Your phone has no problem to wory about. Its just tiat your isp doesnt allow u to download files larger than 3kb. If u want to download some polyphonic ringtones try downloading them from ur pc and then transfer them to ur phone via ir or data cable. It works fine with me

@Los_Fredricos, I know about the size limit thing! In Malaysia 3kb limit is 4 normal wap excess. GPRS size limit is much higher!
Co'z i used the same network 4 my T68i, and I could d'load themes more then 20kb via GPRS! (no problem)
I have tried all wap sites with polytones, tagtag.com/t300, tagtag.com/set300, tagtag.com/egghead n many more!
And I just got my upgraded s'ware which is R1G001. Asked the SE technician, he said that all the T300 phone can't download via GPRS!
I think it's just bullshit.....
Really dissapointed with my T300, just got it 4 days ago!
Really MAD..... Next time I go to the service centre, will try to get a exchange...if that could be done!
