Help with Smsplus and Roms please |

I have just got smsplus installed on my P800 and downloaded a few GG Roms onto my laptop. How do I copy the Roms into the phone...which directory?, etc...I also tried using File Manager...but no luck....What am I doin wrong? |

Just place the files under Media Files and then Other. If it says something about Canīt copy, mail them to yourself and then save them. Donīt bother that the P800 says unknown format, you can open the games in SMSplus anyway.
Click load rom and then choose D or C drive (depending on where you chose to save the games) and click open. Worked for me. |

Another easy alternative is to transfer the files onto your P800 using PC File Manager. By the way, try Streets of Rage for SMS with the screen lock enabled. It ROCKS!!! |

SMS Plus is an emulator for the Sega Master System. It's somehow more colorful and more graphically intensive than Gameboy color (since its a console and not a handheld system) so its worth getting it!
You can play a lot of SMS games on it... including the GREAT RPG Phantasy Star! Makes the P800 virtually have a LOT of games for it! 
You can get it at www.my-symbian.com. Search the forums there too on how to use it, etc.
Use Google for SMS ROMS.
Lastly, have fun!

Can you actually control Streets of Rage on the P800? I have so far managed to load Street of Rage and Wonder Boy but not got past the initial screens which says 'Press Start'! How do you control these games????

The ROMs can be anywhere you like. I put them in a subfolder of documents called SMS. That way I can transfer them using the standard My P800 window.

remember to 'lock screen' (in SMSPlus options) so that u can use the jog dial.
this helps......but the controls still suck...... |
