Hello all,

Does anyone knows where to get hold of P800 mineral grey housing? Please post your info, I'm sure there's a lot of P800 owners out there would like to change the housing to mineral grey! The original baby blue just can't be right for a smartphone like P8.

Thanks for posting!

I should think that if anyone here had managed to get one they would have posted information on where to get it and you would have found that information in the search you did before posting this question!

Masseur,

I did tried to look it up from search but it proves failure, anyway I'm sure I seen a post about mineral grey housing for P8 on esato before. Sorry to be ignorant, but sometimes you just ASK if you don't know something and hope for a reply answer not critics.

Maybe this helps

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson regarding your enquiry.

The handset is available in 'Mineral Grey', however the handset needs to be
bought with this cover as the handset does not have an exchangeable cover
function.

If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact
our Sony Ericsson Customer Care Centre by telephone on 08705 237 237.

No, I think you understood me wrong. I don't think you are ignorant but my point was that with the interest in different colour housings, if there was one actually available now, then there would be a wildly popular thread near the top of the list about it because people would want to know where to get it and how to fit it among other things.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Thanks EBS...! Don't worry about that Masseur, I told you I saw a post about it before but can't find it. I'm still a typical mineral grey colour lover for my se phones. I even bought my second T68m upgraded to T68i even though been offered T68i baby blue. I'm obsess with T68 as I got my first one robbed on a night bus point blank!

Now that I can have an upgrade, I want to get the long awaited se 's hottest handset P8 and as before, I want it grey or evn possibly black! I think I'm asking too much now knowing that there's mineral grey for P8! Can't wait!

i was in the Mobile Repair Centre in West Kensington today and the guy mentioned he'd been playing with the mineral grey p800. He said in his opinion it wasn't as nice... but i guess it's just a personal preference thing. Bet that's a rare thing at the moment, grey p800 in london!

aside, MRC service was amazing. They are really good and i REALLY do recommend them.

I've got to say I never liked the grey T68 either. When I first ordered one before they were actually available I ordered the gold one. Expansys called me to confirm if I wanted to wait for gold or take a grey one they were getting in next day... I didn't want to wait so went for the grey. That was a good choice because the gold, IMHO, was disgusting!

I was very happy though, when the T68i came out, apart from the blue backlit keypad etc, I really do prefer the blue/white mix and I have no problem with the P800 blue colour.
