I have a question: Is it possible to use more then one calendar with the T610?
Would be nice for the sync with iCal on Mac. I have to admin 3 different cals (University, Work, Private).
However if the T610 doesnt support this, I sould think about my intended buy. |

the t919 from tel.me does support up to 3 calendars,
however it is too large for me, does not have bluetooth and does not support syncML, otherwise it has a 65k touchscreen and an integrated MP3 Player and costs only 400 euro.

well, you can build yourself one with Java. However, you'll have to store your calendar-data on some web server using gprs as the phone most likely doesn't allow Java programs to write to the user-memory... |

With iCal using iSync, you can choose what calendars you want to sync by turning them on or off in iSync. They are all inserted into the phone's one calendar. Conversely, you can choose in what iCal calendar you wish your phones calendar to sync into. It is pretty well implemented.
I currently use 4 calendars in iCal and sync my personal and work calendars into my phone. Any changes or additions I make on my phone's calendar are synced into my personal calendar. If I need to put them into my work calendar, I can change those entries once they are in iCal.
You can also send one entry at a time from your phone to iCal by highlighting an appointment and using "send" in the menu. That appointment immediately pops up in my iCal, in whichever calendar I currently have selected. Very slick! To do this you need to have "Accept files without warning" and "Open with helper application" selected when PIM items are accepted in your Bluetooth settings.
Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for your detailed answer.
Well, after tought about it, I think I will go for the T610, because normaly I'm not storing so many appointments on the road that manual sorting into the right calendar would be hard work. |
