I just got an email from ericsson and they said Tetris was removed because of customer
feedback ???? and that

"With regard to your recent enquiry we regret to inform you that tetris is
not a "hidden" game on the T68. This is no longer available. We apologise
for any inconvenience this may cause"

Sorry All

maybe tetris consumes a lot of memory.. consumers want more memory in their T68 than tetris right? so I guess its a trade off..

possibly but I doubt it. They had tetris in that old ericsson, the big one, the A2168 or something like that, but you have to hold to phone sideways to play it.
If it was on a phone like that then I dont think they removed it because of issues with memory

Maybe it steals a lot of battery. But that should be the customers concern.

Anyway, lame-move by Ericsson. Can understand why.

I don't see why it'd use any more battery than 'game' or any other game

Well honestly i didn't like tetris a lot! And i would prefer more memory instead of it.

but remember this time its a colored Tetris in the T68, so much much more memory used... just my opinion.

Hmmmm... I can't see the issue with adding colour. There are only 7 diffent types and they each keep the same colour so thats only a matter of a few extra bytes and the backgrounds are shared with the other games so i don't think its a memory thing. but anyway I'd hapily take a mono version! I mean come on they took out the game that shifted millions of gameboys back in the early nineties thats just a proof of its playability
