Just a quick topic to make sure we all know what all the settings in the service menu are for and are there way to alter some of the not obvious features?

But there are also a few question that I'd like to raise:

What is the best setting for the contrast I'm sure there are certain things to look for when setting the conrast of the phone.

When you do the microphone test, should I get really bad feedback? I'm presuming this means that the level of the mic is too loud right? (also when in a call I've noticed that changing the earphone volume also changes the level of the mic)

And what are the Labels for?

1. I think the contrast is the best as it stood when you first looked at it.

2. My speaker test is also bad when I try the test. But it's excellent when I talk with people with the phone.

I really do think that if the mic is causing feedback in the service settings then it means it is too high sometimes when I talk to people they say i need to talk quieter because it is distortion and my girlfriend just upgraded from a 8210 to the t68 and i find that it distorts with her too.

I'm SURE that if you get feedback its set too loud. Does every one elses phone do this?

what contrast settings to use is very individual... some like it darker, some like it brighter, and different revisions on the display also has some effect...

the labels are text strings used in the menus... if you find labels in the service menu which are not in the menus, don't worry, has used the same list of text labels on many phone models.
