Well, SMARTNET is not quite near to Laguna. Nasa Ortigas ito eh.
But you do not have to leave the phone with them, just wait for them to finish the upgrade.
Join us this Saturday for an EB, there's a plan to proceed to office for a firmware upgraded afterwards. The EB thread is here
See you there. |

Where exactly is Smartnet? Does anyone have their contact number? I think I need to have my T68's firmware upgraded. Mine's version R2A013 but I'm having problems with it. When I set my text size to small, the text in some menus (like address book) remain medium, it's pretty annoying. Does anyone know if a firmware upgrade will solve this? Thanks!
BTW, hello GOwin! Hehehe. |

Yep, I'm the new recruit of Mr. GOwin! He actually did a lot to help convince me to try another brand aside from N**** Sayang, can't make it to the EB coz it's my cousin's wedding today, let me know how it goes.
Thanks, I'll do that search on Smartnet. Hope the upgrade will correct my phone's glitch.
Am pretty happy with my new phone, can't put it down |

The bug is there, but most likely you just didn't notice it.
It really isn't a problem, but just a font display consistency problem.
Ooops OT na. Change thread.
Updates about first Pinoy EB is here
Wish you were there guys.

Hmmm, coz in my phone, when I go to the address book (and many other menus) and list the names, the text is still Medium, even if I set it to small. With my girlfriend's, they're all small (at least all the menus we've seen ).
Wow, almost bumped into you guys at Smartnet! Sayang! I was going to go there around 1pm to get my phone upgraded (was thinking I had enough time coz my cuz's wedding was at 4pm pa) but decided against it coz I tried calling Smartnet but couldn't talk to anyone, so I figured they were closed on weekends I'll probably go there on Monday. |

Was able to go to Smartnet earlier (Monday). Great service! They were able to upgrade both my girlfriend's and my phone to R2B in about 30 mins. Am a lot happier with the R2B upgrade, now all my menus have consistent text sizes
