I am trying to "answer" calls using a HBH 30 and a P 800 and as soon as I press "ok" on the handset to answer a call the sound gets transferred from headset to handset. Very incovenient.

There is no problem in making a call. As soon as I dial a number the sound transfers from handset to headset.

I had the same problem with the T 68i until SE upgraded the software. Then I was able to "answer" a call simply by pressing the "yes" button on my handset and the sound would be automatically transferred to headset.

Does anyone have an answer to this?

Has SE been stupid enough to make the same mistake on the P 800 as they did on the T 68i? Is there a new software upgrade to solve the problem? If not, will someone at SE please come up with one?

It's quite urgent as I'm disabled and can't answer a call by using the HEADSET answer button. I'm only able to answer calls by using the HANDSET answer button. I was able to do this on my T68i after a software upgrade - why not on the P800??

Well my P8 wont even transfer the sound from handset 2 headset most of the time with the settings on auto, I have to turn the bluetooth on! I wouldnt worry with ur problem I heard that Bluetooth is one of the key factors improved on the upgarde.

Well thats all very well but I suspect the upgrade isn't immediately around the corner....

Have you tried having the bluetooth on 'auto' and on 'on' ?

Have you got the latest firmware already?

The firmware I have is "R1D" for the phone and "RTC" for the bluetooth. I believe this is the latest. When is the new firmware out? Does anyone know?
