Now i think all new ericsson accessories will be sonyericsson branded e.g. the mp3 player if still being made will be rebranded very soon! That would explain the reduced prices for the Mp3 player.

This is because the new T68i uses the same accessories as the T68 so they will have to compliment sonyericsson accessories. They will not supply ericsson branded accessories for the T68i!!! That would not make sense would it?

So i guess all of our accessories will be rebranded and differently designed under sonyericsson.

It also looks like sonyericsson will be using much of ericsson's platforms... such as accessories for at least some of the phones

I am sure we can change only the front cover if we pay, but i dont care cos i will have a rare T68 as it would have only been made for 4 months unlike the T68i which will be produced for much longer

I dont believe the T68i will have any hardware changes, only cosmetic and software plus minor changes to the handling and lighting of the phone. The back looks horible andi think it looks bigger and tacky!

Just wanted to say that I agree with you. I would like the T68i to come out which will make my Ericsson T68 a rare mobile phone even though it has the same features as the T68i (after the MMS upgrade of course)

Yeah I have to agree the original looks much much better, especially the Gold.

But I think that they would have actually modifed some of the hardware too, in fact it's almost a definate.

P.s. I read somewhere that with the T68i and the communicam you'll be able to use the T68's screen as a viewfinder!!! and the phone will also be able to read jpeg!!! (no more cif files needed) Hopefully these will be implememntable to our phones via the software upgrade

You will be able to use the screen as a Communicam viewfinder, but, hopefully they will upgrade the Communicam soon, because the screen is useless as a vewfinder, as the present Communicam lens faces the phones front when connected, therefore, you would only be able to viewfind your face. If you want to use the screen as a view finder. Hopefully, the new one will either be in reverse, or swivel.

Have the accessories come down in price? I haven't actually noticed. So where in the UK is the cheapest at the moment? preferable an online shop.

I know this has probably been discussed before, but it will probs be out of date now.

No way they will risk changing the accessories only an update on the existing ones with the label on them,i think its kind of cool having a rare Ericsson T68 after a few years, the one will be everywhere after awhile, the rubber type of battery is much more durable i think as in comparison to the battery will scratch very easily!!
