Anyone have problems with the Opera browser working with hotmail?? Twice in 2 days the browser has stopped responding causing the phone to stop responding, i.e. crash altogether. I had to take the battery out (no other way to restart) but afterwards Opera seems to have become corrupted and every time I tried to connect to the web I'd get a message about DNS problems.
I had to uninstall and reinstall Opera to get it to work.
This has only happened while trying to access hotmail either through hotmail.com where I get gibberish after the log-in page or through mobile.msn.com.
I can access all my usual web pages without any problems (Esato, Yahoo, Yahoo mail, BBC news, etc.)
Any ideas/thoughts?

Opera requires version R1F of the organiser (if you read the fine print here, although it does seem to work with earlier versions most of the time.

Many people report that hotmail works for them and many report it doesn't. I have an UK import version and it doesn't work for me as it pre-R1F but I'm getting upgraded tomorrow so I am hoping it will be fine after that.

Yendell Communications
81 Station Road
Addlestone KT15 2AR

They are a new Ericsson support centre apparantly and no, I don't think I will be paying. I got My T68i and my kids T300s upgraded there last week but they were not totally sure what to do for the P800 so after some investigation on their part I am heading back tomorrow.

regarding opera + hotmail... make sure you are signed out on the PC otherwise it tries to sign you in as the last browser you tried...

ie if you choose the "keep me signed in" option it will fail on login on the p800.

Update:

Still can't get it to login though. Has anyone managed it?
