if orange carry out their threat of completely removing the subsidy from new handsets by the end of the year, where does this leave their policy of locking their handsets to the network?
the reason they gave for the practice was that as they had subsidised the handsets so heavily, they wanted to get the benifit of their usage for the year; but if they withdraw all subsidy, their argument falls kind of flat.

if we're really lucky, they'll get rid of the badge on the handsets as well. (in my dreams)
they don't make them like they used to

Well theres no orange logo on my t68ì but it is locked,i would pay the £20 to unlock it but no other uk network can match my ED50 and GPRS access pack so whats the point(unless i want to sell it but i love this phone so much i cant see me parting with it) :-)
