@mariolouis: It's not the sending I'm concerned about, I can send MMS. I'm concern whether the people i send it to receives them.

yes, you can use the phone's built-in email client to send/receive mails PROVIDED that your email provider supports IMAP or POP. try www.hotpop.com (for details and configuration, please use the SEARCH function as there are a lot of threads discussing the same subject already.)

PS
you mentioned yahoo.com. sorry to tell you but it won't work unless you pay for pop3 access. hth.

What is the final offiial charge of GLobe for GPRS?

50 cents per kilobyte? Sent? Received?

My friend told me that plain surfing without downloading any righs ro pics is free, is that true?

WAP browsing is free, so long as you don't download any images or tones. Viewing thumbnails is ok, but once you request for the full image, its as good as sold.

Accessing the web is 0.50/kb, send AND receive, so beware when using your phone as a modem with PC or PDA, or P800 web surfing.

for POP and IMAP email, you can still check your mail using the WAP gateway and it will still be free. webmail must go through internet server and will be charged the above rate.
