According to mobil.se a new version of the graphical userinterface has come. Mainly the look of it and the sounds are improved, but also the possibilities to make the phone personal, themes and backgrounds has been improved.

Ny version av gränssnittet i P800 klar

Det grafiska gränssnittet i Sony Ericssons kommunikator P800 har namnet UIQ. Nu har det kommit i en ny version, vilket förstås ökar på spekulationerna om att en ny P800 kan vara på gång.
Det är framför allt utseende och ljud som har förbättrats i den nya versionen. Funktioner för spel och musik ska ha blivit bättre med den nya versionen. Också förutsättningarna för att göra telefonen mer personlig med "teman" i form av färgscheman, bakgrundsbilder med mera har förbättrats.

Yes, this is UIQ v2.1 it has been discussed here about a week ago or so. Go to www.uiq.com to see the details.
Dunno when SE will offer an upgrade though. |

I sure hope we get it soon.
One thing the P800 really lacks is the excellent customizability that you get with other phones - my T68i immediately comes to mind. Sheer brilliance that.

i just realized something ... the p800 doesn't have a Ringtone composer ....SHAME !!!
