Hey there,
Have you tried downloading an update like from Microsoft site? Maybe you're IR driver is outdated.
Peace out! |

Try changing the IrDA port from FIR to SIR in the bios of your laptop.

Just to check, you are lining up your two IR ports aren't you? You'd be surprised how many people dont!
Also, dont use 3rd party software to send files, just right click on the file you want to send, select 'send to' and choose wireless device.
You could also try reducing the data rate of the IR on your machine to about 9600 and see if that helps. |

You can also use the Ir menu of your system.
I also had tis problem, but the cause was the bad configuration.
Ceck it!!!!! |

I have a similar problem except that my phone is never recognised.
In XP Home under IRDA there are two Transceivers (A & B), each with the same 15 different emulations, plus a wide range of speeds.
The speed problem has been answered - what emulation should I select. there is nothing that corresponds directly to SonyEricsson.
Also under the laptops BIOS there are btwo choises, Fast IRDA and ASK IRDA. What should I choose? |
