I don't have IRDA on my PC, but I have a palm with infra-red. Can I use the palm to send and recieve tones, pictures, etc to my new T300?

Cheers,
Rockand.

I have had moderate success with my m505 and T68i. Although I hate assuming anything, I suspect the IR compatability on the T300 would be the same as the T68i.

That being said, it depends on the file format which you are tyring to beam. If you get it to your palm, you should expect to be able to beam it to your phone. I have successfully beamed JPGs, GIFs, calendar appointments, and Addresses with no problems at all. I know there is a Palm util called Funnyphone with which you can create ring tones specifically for beaming to an IR enabled phone, so I expect that they work as well.

To this point, I have had no success beaming themes from the Palm to the T68i, but only because I have no application on the Palm which supports .thm files, therefore they will not sync. However, with the DCU-10 cable and a good driver, I can sync themes from my PC to my phone, so it keeps me happy [for now.]
