Hey all, looking to get an S55 working with my Tungsten T via bluetooth. I can send business cards & dial the phone, no problem. The issue I have is with bringing up a GPRS connection from the Palm. With my T68i, I had the following as the dial string *99***[CID]# in the Network panel and it worked just fine. However, it doesn;t seem to be the way that the Siemens phone brings up the GPRS connection. Any ideas???

Yup, the phone can conenct just fine on its own. The weird thing is that, unlike the T68i, the S55 doesn't really list a CID number anywhere - it's confusing...

That means you should go back to T68i. Hehe...:-] Maybe you need to work on the dial-up setting to indicate the necessary access point name in Tungsten T.

If you manually set the GPRS settings then the CID will probably be sequential from 1 onwards (try it). If you set it automatically from OTA (SMS) then it may be sequential or it may be set to a specific value (like 10 etc., which means you'll be guessing).

Yeah, I've been guessing sofar, but didn't take it up to 10 yet. The strange thing about how they do Data Comm setups is that you have a Data Comm setup, but then within that you have individual GPRS settings for multiple carriers so it's nested a bit...

Helo,... I have a problem connecting the T3 with the Siemens S55, the Palm always shows "PPP timeout" and I have tried almost every thing.
I am in Caracas Venezuela and the Service provider doesn´t know how to make it work...
