How does everyone convert their videos for the P800? |

Hi! I have the P800 and I'ms till having some trouble trying to convert MPEGs and AVIs into MP4s. I've tried MPEGABLE, however the sound cannot keep up or is ahead of the video. I've also tried the PACKETVIDEO AUTHOR program, and used the recommended instructions for the P800 in most ways. Even this isn't that good as the image and audio is even worse! Is there anyone here who has a different way of doing this? I want audio and video quality like the 'World of Connectivity' video which came with the P800. I have Adobe Premiere, however I don't know how to use it. Can anyone suggest what to do there? Does anyone know a better way. PLEASE help as I just want good video quality. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks!
P.S. I have searched the entire forum. |

sorry for the double post. still not used to the cache on p800
anyway you can change quality under the encoding tab. 9,600 bbs to 128,000 bbs. or change it to more. This will give you better quality.

What about the audio? It isn't as good as MPEGABLE, however PACKETVIDEO does seem slightly better. Will the audio still be the same? Also, is there a limit? What profile did you start off with? The smoothest motion or better image? Anything else? I'll try what you've said though!
Thanks! |

I Mean back up stuff you want delete crap and save your vid you have converted. as you only have a 60 day trial on packet vid before you have to pay.

I dont know much about the p800 as i have not brought myself one yet and i dont think anyone is going to be buying me one but...
Alot of folk who encode video use a free ware program called virtual dub because it is powerful yet easy to use and understand.
You will (as i am sure you already know) need the right codec that the p800 uses installed too (I dont know what this is)
Any how hope this helps. |
