Guys

I have just called them before I went down to pick one up. They are not in yet "they are expecting them any day now". I can't see Expansys getting them sim free before SE E-Shop. !!!

I did notice that their online warehouse tracking didn't show them as being received (yet) although the 64Mb DUO are showing as received.

I don't understand, why write on their website "We have recived limited stock of the UK, EU & US spec P800 today"....

And they spelt 'received' wrong. What a joke and not very professional at all.

All,

I am waiting on SE shop and Expansys! I phoned www.Extele.net but they have not received the phones today. apparently they are waiting on someone (possibly their supplier) to release the phones to them.

Just had this info from SE!

Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson.

With reference to your enquiry concerning the P800, we cannot confirm Orange's processes in receiving handsets from their suppliers. The P800 has not been officially released in the UK yet and so any information on it at the moment is limited.

If you have any further enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us
again.

Kind regards,

Sorry to rub salt in wounds, but whats wrong with Orange (if you want a contract)? I'm well pleased with mine since Friday & I know the shops in my area still had some left on Monday/Tuesday

Hi,

I dont want a contract and certainly not with Orange! I already have a contract through my employers so I only want a Sim free version of the P800. If Orange could unlock the P800 then I may be slightly tempted by them, but only because they have the P800 out before everyone else. Wonder what they did to get priority!!!

Apparently Orange wanted exclusive release ONE MONTH before other operators i.e. T-Mobile. Dunno how much they paid though?!

This was the explanation given to me by one mobile phone supllier.
