for eg, on the homepage (the standard one) there are two links:
Sony Ericsson and Sony Ericsson P800. when i click on the first, the page opens up fine but when i try n go to the second link i get a message saying that i have chosen to download a file called p800.htm, type: internetviewer n should i continue. whehn i click yes, i get another message saying that its been downloaded and the option to open it...n when i try to open it...i get ANOTHER message where i have an option to cancel or save the page. if i cancel, i go back to the starting point and if i save, a link gets saved in the bookmarks and i still go back to where i started from.

ok, so maybe the link i'm trying to open is not viewable in a wap browser (but its a link FROM a wap site) but i HAVE been able to open that link before so i'm just curious why i can't now.

this isn't the only link that i haven't been able to open. in some other wap sites i get a similar message with a few variations like the type of file might be qviewer..or something..can't remember exactly what. everytime i click on these kinds of links, they ask if i want to download the file and when i say yes, they get saved in my bookmarks.

i would really like to know why this happens and how i can access those links.

thanks for any help!

I have the same problem with my t300. I can open some links, but most of the time I get an error message. :( I've tried to find a solution to this as I have been able to open all links before, but I cant figure it out. What phone do you have?
