I don`t pay line rental so for me with a change after 4 months to a £15 pmnth tariff that makes the phone £370 ish at the end of the year. ad £20 to unlock it.
BARGAIN .
BUT CHECK THIS, some online cheap Orange tariff p800`s don't include the 16mb duo in the package to reduce the costs, i am noticing, so check it's included first.

How sure are you about the ability of changing the tariff after 4 months?
Also is it possible to unlock it now. I mean just when I receive it

Have you seen that you can also get the P800 for £34.99 from onestopphoneshop if you subscribe to OVP T-Mobile Everyone 300 for £42.50 a month, or OVP O2 400 for £45.00 a month. I'm waiting until they have stock, to ensure they're still cheapest, but it's a very good deal.

why not use the compare tarrif on this the above site and change to ovp anytime 20 for 230 quid. and 13 quid line rental.
sounds good to me cause it works out cheaper because dont do much phoning just texts and general playing

ps. you could then afford to buy an internet package too

Since you can change down tariffs after 4 months, as previously discussed, you can get the phone at £205 for the first 4 months (£35 + 4 x £42.50), rather than £282 (£230 + 4 x £13) and then you pay £13 a month from then on in. Plus, you get all those extra minutes of calls. In fact, over the course of a year, you end up paying £309 for the phone and 12 months line rental, which is almost £200 less than the RRP sim free.

They said 2-3 weeks when I phoned them last week, which probably means they don't know.
