6100 backlight? |

My wife got a 6100 a week ago. I have been checking it out and do not understand why the backlight does not come on when someone calls. The caller, profile and vibrate all show/work....however, the screen is dark still...Only when the keys are pressed does the screen light up....someone pls help! |

just the way it is... nothing you can do about it other then hoping Nokia will change it in upcoming firmware releases... |

That really sucks. I can't believe that a company such as Nokia could overlook such a simple detail as that. I'm glad I don't have that problem with my P800.
Can the firmware be upgraded at Nokia dealers? |

im not sure about the 6100, but i think i heard there was a f/w already released...need to call a service center...if u go to the nokia website and then to the nokia club website and log in, u can get info on which are the closest to you. |
