Hi I've just bought my phone from Dubai although I live in the uk, and have checked the phone and I am on version

phone R1B
BT R2C
Organiser R1C02

How do I get uprgraded to the latest version.

Also how do I download music onto my phone, as I can't find anywhere in my manual on how to do this.

Is there no Sony Ericsson site detailing what fixes and updates were done on new firmware versions?? This way we'll know what were fixed, improved, etc. I think this is important for all SE users out there...

I know one thing that is fixed in the organiser: R1G05.
That is the compatibility with the three other phones from Vodafone Live (7650,gx10,gd87). Mms didn't work from these phones you could send (from your p800) but could't receive (just the header).

did you get the error "bad name"? I am getting that when a friend send me an MMS from her GX10. SE in UK said I had to send it in for repair! I said bullsh*t!

Yes, thats the error I got. So don't listen to them and upgrade!
Try to get an mms from someone with a se phone (e.g. t68i/p800) and you will see that it works (already with the sw you got now)!
