Flaws in design of Sony Ericsson phones

T68i - The button seems not good for pressing...
P800 - No Joytick or directional keys, difficult to play games
Z1010 - Difficult to use the screen as viewfinder and the camera is located on the back of the phone, as after opening the filp, the phone will not be straight

Connection port - Disconnect accidentally very easily

Hope can improve these aspects and bring us more better phones

Good point, but i'd leave the port alone. I also think that its easy to disconnect it, even seen some people breaking it when using ericsson or SE for the first time, but remember all accesories would have to change. [addsig]

All accessories have to be changed...Yup
But I think the current connection port is really quite bad,
easy to disconnect and very slow connect speed (for example MCA25 copying photos to the phone, P800 cradle to transfer data)

I think they should use a new port in all new phones.
The problem will not be so big if they change it as soon as possible.
It is because they are now releasing a lot of new accessories (new design of handsfree, charger, FM radio handsfree, communicam, etc.),
if all of these as well as the new phone also use the new port,
users can find and use what they need very easily.
Also, I think Sony Ericsson want us to use new accessories with phone......

Why can't SE design phones that uses round type plugs for charging phones instead of the propietary type that it uses now. Nokia got them beat in this department along with ease of use when doing SMS, other than that, SE got Nokia beat in all other areas

Round-type plugs are horrible in terms of dust collection. In this sense, SE's proprietary plug actually is very smart thinking.

And how is composing an SMS any easier on a Nokia than on a P800?

How is Nokia SMS easier than most of the SE phones. I can write an SMS quicker and punctuate it properly (I am a bit anal about that) much quicker when I have a joystick.

The yes/no key of SE t200 is not very comfortable as t68.

P800's touchscreen is very delicate. It can crack even if it falls from a small height. My P800's screen cracked when it was in a belt pouch.

The good thing with the SE connector is that we can attach a whole lot of stuff at the bottom of our phones, just take a look at Nokia changing into pop-port design. Problem is, when I have the phone in my pocket with a handsfree connected, it sometimes disconnects from the port. :-(

The concept of the old Ericsson port is good,
but its quality.......... slow, easy to disconnect...
So I think should have some enhancement or improvement to it

I have found that my chatboard is VERY touchy on T300. Otherwise I think its a great idea. I just looked in horror when I saw my mate pull the chat board out of his phone after I put it in for him. Pulled all the black connecty things off chatboard
T300 Is My LIFE.... Now I want a nokia Camera Phone
