i've just upgraded my software to:
Phone:
CXC162002 R1D
Bluetooth:
CXC12529 R2C
Organiser:
CXC162001 R1G05
CDA:
CDA162001/3 R2A04

hoping to solve some probs. But my SMS sending is still having problems after the upgrade.
Alot of times when i create or reply to an sms and send it by clicking on the "SEND" button, an "Information" screen will pop out saying "Not Enough Memory" and a "Continue" button below it. I'm unable to send the reply or sms eventhough i re-create a new reply or sms. the error above just keep flashing when i click on the "Send" button. And the msg in the Draft folder is EMPTY!!! With just and envelope icon with no contact and msg (which suppose to have what i have typed earlier) in it. i restart the phone sometimes if u're lucky it let u send if not the problem will persist. thanks

I've noticed R1G for p800 (file date 180203) on the emma server, but no clue what the exact differences with R1F are. Didn't have the time to upgrade yet.
Did you lose all your contacts, images sounds etc while upgrading??

Your sms problem could have something to do with the simcard, try it with another sim and see if it helps, otherwise I have no clue what's causing this error messages
