Hi,

I just can't get my sony clie PEG T-415 to send files to my T68i via infrared. I've searched the web and I don't seem to find anything that works. Do you guys have any tips, solutions? Thanks in advance.

I have a n760 and have no problems tranfering to my t68i unless
i forget to turn the ir port on my t68i. Try going downloading this and installing it on you clie if you have not already. http://www.palm.com/support/accessories/sms.html I think I put this on my clie before I started transfering files.

Thanks for the tip... I installed it but I can't find the "phone" item in the pull down menu at the upper-right corner of the screen, as directed by the palm website. I've installed the file though... I'm just puzzled. But I'm sure my IR works since I tried it with a Nokia today. Do I have to set something on my T68i to make it work with PDAs? I'm making sure that the infrared indicator on the screen is on and it's ready to recieve.

Thanks for any tips!

I use McFile to transfer the files, gif's, theme's etc. Works just fine. Clié770+T68i

There are no settings for the t68i IR - just set it to recieve an item.

I dont know whether this is possible on your pda but you could try turning down the data rate usually to 9600.

Phil.
