T68i - Backup Pictures To PC ??? |

hallow,
i`m trying to upload my pic`s from the phne onto the pc....
i cant seem to find a softwer to do it!
can any body help me please?? |

Canīt help you more than tell you how i do it: Via IRDA and Windows XP.. and that pretty much takes care of itself once the computer detects the phone via IR..
How do you connect to your computer?

Have you tried Sony Ericssons "My Pictures" which you can download from www.sonyericsson.com/imaging/en/index.htm There are a few other programs for the T68i. I hope that helps.

Send them by e-mail so you don't need any software to do that. |

You cant use a cable to download from the cellphone.Must be BT or IrDA

Well, u can backup pictures with data cable, but won't be able to view them. Only backup and restors. See

I hav msi bt. It seems SEmypictures can only send pix from pc to phone and not vice versa. Is that right? Are there any software that can be used to send files from t68i to pc usng bt?

Got MSI too and it's working good in both directions after I done installed new drivers from Billion.I done think that's their name anyway.Check out here on Esato cause I done found them here. there no cheap way to upload my pics to the pc....
i guess they did it to make money....
and that logical..
i cant make a program that makes it... but i`m sure somone can.....

Well, there is such program (Phonebackup). All we need now, is program letting u convert pics from format the phone stores them, to standard gifs. I noticed, that in phone memory gifs are stored other way than on pc: pic data is divided to lines (corresponding to picture's horizontal lines), and every pixel in each line is separately described - i think it contains info on colour, on count of pixels of same colour next to each each other etc. That might also explain, why pic takes usually much more space in phone memory than normally on PC. Don't know if all pics r stored this way, but the assigned to photo phonebook are.
