I don't know whether this has been posted before or not but I think this is ugly! Don't you?

Yeah, the extra width in the middle looks odd.
But it does have a titanium body, so you gotta give them points for that. And it has the modern tech guts, too. GPRS, Bluetooth, etc.
I would guess it is gonna cost near $1000 tho. A bit steep, but Nokia managed to get $500 for the 8800 series, and that phone was basically just a good looking hunk of metal. It did next to nothing.

Props on the Titanium and GPRS&BT, but having owned 2 nokia's with this type of opening cover, i gotta say it's fscking annoying! oh, and the "automatic opening mechanism" is just bound to be broken after a month or two of heavy use!
Doesn't look like any buttons are accessable with the cover closed either.

Hideous. Although I'm sure dedicated Nokia fans will lap it up... According to the Nokia website it has beauty and elegance. Ha! |

Yeah, in general moving parts just mean breaking parts.
I have the same fear with my new v70. That 360 degree rotating faceplace is one big-ass "moving part".
The old T28s had problems with the spring loaded flips, the 7110 had problems with the spring loaded slide, I see no reason to not expect more of the same from the 8910.
