Yep, been using it quite happily since early Jan. I don't think it's failed any tests since CPW claim they'll start selling it when they get stock early next week (according to sales line on Friday).
Cheers

I've been using it for a month on Vodafone with GPRS/MMS/SMS/WAP etc etc and I agree... no problems at all |

Hi Ebs,
you don't need GPRS for the P800 to work. It will work through ISP dial-up although it will be 9600bps.

Thanks because that was my only doubt about buying it |

I'd recommend switching to GPRS based on experience.
I've been working in Germany for a couple of years so I took out a prepaid service there. It used to eat my prepaid balance dialing up to check mail but when GPRS came available I found my prepaid balance lasted much longer, maybe twice as long, and I was probably checking mail much more frequently.
Its also a much better connection. I have found when going through a tunnel the dial up gets disconnected whereas GPRS seems to hang on and wait a while before dropping the signal so more often than not I have got out the other side and it continued where it left off. |

Hi,
It depends how much you are going to use the internet from the P800. I dont do that much travelling so I will only be dialing up the ISP a few times a month. I dont have a need for GPRS so I am not going to get it, unless work pays for it .

Been using it on VOD for last 2 1/2 weeks now. So far, have been unable to access Email, and now my mms has failed. GPRS web browsing is good..
Wayno
Massuer ( or anyone else) do you have the correct Vod settings for accessing email? ( and mms come to that..!)
