it's for unlocking/locking the phone to a specific network provider... don't mess around in that menu.... |

It's the network and network subset information menu,they use that to unlock your phone.btw-it is an old code.next time please do a search :-) it would greatly help you look for answers to your questions before posting them :-) and save valueble thread space.check the NEW HERE AT ESATO thread oki :-D welcome to Esato!
