This function does not seem to exist on the P800 (I used it all the times on the T68) or have I missed it somehow? |

Yes and I am always on the same network. My question is how do you select this option on the P800? I haven't seen it... |

P800 does not have an SMS delivery report function. This feature is missing. Your network may have an alternative way of providing reports, such as prefixing the message with RCT or *0# |

The P800 does not support delivery reports. If you're on Orange then you will have to type RCT and then your message.

This is what I though .. oh just a minor issue compared to all the other goodies you have with it
Also, it seems not possible to set up SMS templates either ... hopefully with the next software release we will have T9, delivery reports and templates like any other phone!!!

If you're from czech republic. Sms reports work or try to type *n# before your message . It works sometimes.

There is no template function in the SMS application, but its easy to work around this.
You can save SMS 'templates' as Jotter files and just use the Send As (SMS) from the file menu.
This feature is available in nearly all text based applications you can send things as SMS, MMS or email.
