is this compitable with my phone

Probably is. Problem is there are 2 kinds of cables out there, one labeled as T28/29 (which is in fact an unlocking cable), and the other T39/65... which is the data cable for all the newer phones since R520/T39. |

if you happen to acquire a flash (or unlocking) cable instead, you can easily convert it to a data cable by following the instructions on this page |

IrDa works much faster and better though, and an IrDa dongle is cheaper than a  cable...
