The Undead on weibo:

" sony plans to introduce 4.4mm + 3.5mm dual interface on mobile phones. It has been tested before , and it is now finalized." " There are several options, traditional dac + amplification or smarter class D amplification. Smarter is about to usher in a new generation." " The new flagship pro line inherits the design language of walkman zx2 and XZ Premium, and will be a good flagship."

doubt. Random users on weibo claiming things, how original. Anyone can make a fake drawing like on the article.

If you want proper good sound and a balanced connection, one will need additional components and shielding in the smartphone to stop any interference of the audio signal. This would require a larger and thicker phone for such components, and we already know space is at a premium in smartphones.

Exactly! Look how bulky the Granbeat and MIAD01 is! Also, to be honest we don't really need such balance connection on the phone to make it sound good. Just a good quality DAC should be fine. I'm not so sure if there's any other smartphone that have headphone amp on it aside of Granbeat and MIAD01.

Of course Sony would put a 2.2mm alongside 3.5 and 4.4. Two jacks is already pretty damn unlikely, but adding a third obscure 2.2? Clearly a fake / fantasy design by someone.

Nobody would waste time doing schematics/sketch etc ...
This 2.2mm is microphone, not 3rd jack according to him.

He even mentions dual front may be gone to have space enough inside.

" Sony semicon's future flagship cmos for mobile phones should exceed 1 inch and reach M43, but sony itself will not use it. At same time, sony cannot share the imx903 to spread cost. It can only go all the way with double layer transistors. The size will not exceed 1 inch. This is also correct. After all, the camera is so small that it really cannnot exceed he performance of the optics itself. "

" All future xperia Pros should have a 19.5:9 screen ratio. Sony has admitted that it was in the wrong direction in terms of screen ratio and resolution. He resolution may be increased to 3120*1440, but 3840*1772 is not realistic. It is unlikely that sony can make amends for the mistake it has already admitted."

* imx903 is the 48MP 1/1.14" exmor T of 16 Pro Max.

Rumors are piling up. The only possible dead giveaway that something is going on is the Fall update that will bring Video Pro features. This is very similar to what they did with PRO-I by debuting Video Pro app.
