I doubt the price of most SoCs are much different. Why not just slap 778 and 695 for both or D1300 and 1080?

Honestly, except 8g2 , ddr5x ram and ufs4.0 storage, I dont think we should trust any other spec we have seen out there so far.

1) I believe 663 is not capable of 4K@120, probably just 90fps. Mark 3/pro-i can only do 120 with 24mm cam. Does not make sense to have it back.
2) if matrix has gone mass production and no phone is tipped to use, why would sony semicon would keep working on it? Does not make sense to have it ready if no one plans to use, not even sony electronics.
3) why removing the RGBC-IR when alpha cameras are shipping with it?
4) very strange Steve H claims phone has 16cm with exactly same design of mark4 that has 16,5? Way impossible.
5) hard to imagine phone would look exactly equal (just new frame) for 4th year, never done before.

From what experience teaches us there is slim to none chance that newly developed Sony technology will find it's way to Xperia first and rest of the smartphone world second. There is a bigger chance new Samsung or LG or whatever company tech to show up on Xperia first. No matrix will find its way to Xperia, no mobile AR camera tech they demoed two years ago will find its way to Xperia, no new Lythia flagship sensors will find it's way to Xperia and so on. That's all unfortunate cause Xperia 1 could be a showcase product of all Sony technologies but someone doesn't think that's a good idea and Im not sure how much of a hit would Sony take if they just give something like matrix to Xperia department for a million units annually. It would be a good PR move.

I believe spek while ago confirmed the test with D8000 was real.

Look at side by side the cam bump of M5 and M4. I highly doubt the super wide is just imx858 (1/2.4") or even 557. It looks huge like 1/1.3". But since cam bump is still on the side, obviously it does not have type 1.0.

Outer glass ring is mostly pure cosmetics and what they did is they just made them all the same cause periscope requires more space. Trend is to go with larger rings so consumer would confuse it with better camera performance.

google Phh-treble GSI and you get a lot of results for custom roms.

With news that Oppo and one plus are soon to exit the European market ( https://www.xda-developers.co[....]arently-pulling-out-of-europe/ ), hopefully this will lead to an increase in sales for Xperia.

Nah. Ppl that buy midranges jump to samsung A34/54. Ppl that buy flagships jump to iphone .
Sony did not even benefit with LG departure.

Wait for mark 7. Gossips say 8g4 is as powerful as apple's M2.

One+ is a brand made for crack at US market and BBK didn't care how much it costs. Somehow it wondered in EU as well. Had that brand operated independently it would have filed for bankruptcy at least four times by now. Oppo also wondered into EU by moving a long with Vivo. Basically BBK threw everything at EU to see what sticks and what sticks is obviously Vivo.

no that is wrong, I have no idea who runs sumahodigest, but they post a lot of nonsense.

YY2963 are the WF-1000XM5, NOT an xperia device.
