This person does compliments to XA2 design (2nd tweet).
In-screen FPS would easily allow that design.

8,7 and 6 cant be screen size. 7" phone would be bigger than now, even without any bezel around.

I'd like to see 10iii with SD750 and 690 for Ace.

Have you guys noticed that since 2020, more people seem excited to see new xperia than phones from other brands?
If you read the articles of when other phones are announced, you feel people are feeling so meh !!

Please, give cam of 1ii to 10iii, 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.

I do hope Sony delivers this time around, especially they should give it their all afterall, Lg's mobile exit is a great opportunity to grab some of their fans to Sony.

Kinda hard.

LG is popular in whole America. Sony only sells in USA, unlocked phones.
Except iphone, no foreign phone is popular in South Korea.
LG is not relevant anywhere else.

I'd love to get back to my Compact + Compact tablet combo. I hope this is true but isn't the rumour more likely to refer to sensor size?

I don't know.
Maybe variable periscope is main sensor? Middle one is telephoto for long range zoom? Rumour was 3x12mp or 1x50mp 2x12mp

In my opinion 870 would be better option.
Cheaper, No overheating, no cpu throttling

There is no 870.
Sony server has 888 and 690.

The tewwt says his source months ago claimed 870.
Which is wrong.

Can you fit a 1/1.7" or larger sensor vertically in such a thin phone/bump? (if the leaked render has some truth to it)

50mp is more likely imo. They'll do digital zoom on that sensor until about 2-3x then switch to periscope for longer range zoom. Since there isn't a fourth camera.

Every year people go crazy with the rumors but Sony always choose the simple solutions.

Sure they can, IMX557 has height of 5.7mm and phone's thickness will be 8.4mm, they can also do double beam bounce instead of one so sensor can be laid out flat as well. But the real question is will the go for even larger sensor to keep big pixel or will they remain with 1/1.7 and decrease the pixels to get 50mp. Who knows what will they deliver. Exterior renders based of CAD file for cases is most likely accurate and so is the camera stack but what's not accurate is the lens spacing and sensor order. From what we've seen so far big main sensor can't be in the middle and they will not make the same mistake like they did with Xperia 1 to place ultrawide in the middle or the bottom.

The bump would be giant.
Also, brands reduce sensor size to increase periscope.

Huawei has 1/3.6" for 10x.
The other 4-5x use 1/2" or smaller.

Also periscope lenses tend to have small apertures. And after zooming optically about 3x on the largest sensor would it really be better to switch to a smaller sensor for 4x?

I think s20u also has the main sensor in the middle.

Wonder if we'll see official renders and specs before the announcement.
