I really hope Sony gets this one right. It's an opportunity!

A question to you guys - Unfortunately, Sony doesn't sell Xperia in my country (XZ2 was the last one). I got my Xperia 1 from http://www.clove.co.uk - delivery was quite fast and they provide a 2 year warranty which is good. However, their color selection is lacking and they provide it with a UK charger which means I must buy a European one in addition.

Are there any other shops that ship internationally and offer a warranty for Xperia?

Since Sony Mobile exited the Australian market I've been purchasing my Xperia phones form Wondamobile, currently have the Xperia 1. Never had any issues with them.

Does this also mean it will be postponed in EU?

very likely.
This is what I heard yesterday.

It has nothing to do with hardware, such as delay in production or supply due to COVID19.

In fact, the first batch of devices are pretty much ready for shipment.
The issue behind delay is camera software, specifically photography pro.

As the official site states this feature is not available with default firmware but they are planning to release the 1st update to enable this as soon as release.

but there are still some glitches and bugs.

So unless this 1st update is ready, I don't think they will release the devices.

Lets hope its not because of COVID19.

so what if it is because of covid? i'd say that is a much more legitimate reason to delay a product release than not having your most marketed features ready for release.

in today's world, not having the latest new phone should be the least of our concerns.

Xz2p was delayed because of aube.
It was shipped without monochrome solo photos and bokeh.
No surprise.

Something is weird.
If you rewatch the press event, you will see the part the photographer uses the phone that photo pro shows f1.8, but japanese hands-on vids show f1.7 for cinema pro.

Could be region specific? I mean they could have change the aperture for the Japan model just my opinio.

Almost certainly no. Did any company ever make a different lens aperture for different markets?

A more reasonable explanation: just like the case with many other products, we see a computer graphics and not the actual product (even if partly). Perhaps someone just mixed tge numbers.

I would assume they usually start working on specific stuff software around December/January just a tad bit before MWC reveal. If that is the case like it was the case with every other phone before it their late April release was very optimistic.

From what I recall XZ2 Premium was supposed to debut together with XZ2 and XZ2 Compact but they had some "last minute design changes" that postponed it. In other words it was not ready just like how Xperia 1 was not ready either so it was late about a month or so.
