I have successfully configured my T68i on Cingular GPRS to RECEIVE POP mail from my Bellsouth.net account. However, I cannot SEND POP mail. It connects, "server found" then hangs up trying to send the mail and finally comes back "Send Failed" Anyone know how to solve this? I hate sending mail via WAP because I want to send to email addresses saved in my phone's address book.

Have you already configured your e-mail settings at the messeges menu?-or have set up an account via wap?what's your incoming and ougoing pop server?if you have configured your settings correctly you could send e-mails just like sms and you could be able to use addresses stored in your phonebook :-)

Does your Bellsouth.net account allow for messages to be sent while not connected to their network? Some service providers will either limit the use of SMTP while disconnected from their networks. They will either give you an alternate SMTP or simply will not allow for outgoing messages when disconnected from their network.

Thanks. It was Bellsouth that wasn't letting me use SMTP when disconnected. I switched to myrealbox email and everything works great, including sending attachments.
