I still don't understand why they put the charging port on one side and the headphone jack on the opposite side!!
Now imagine putting it in your pocket/handbag!!

Ugh you're so right. How am I supposed to put the phone in my bag while it's charging and a headphone is plugged? Doesn't make any sense. It's especially hard when it's plugged into the wall and I'm trying to fit it in my pocket. |

It was never an issue to me, but I cant deny that jack beside usb is easier.
In the pocket you can leave phone upside down.
If they can put front speaker nside this tiny bezel, something I thought was not possible, why not before?
This means X1 could have had.

I dont remember if this is 2nd or 3rd FCC ID for 2020 lineup.
LOL, cant believe Sumaho does not know about this phone so far.
Not one single word.
Looks like other specs are locked behind 10 iron doors.

The speaker could be under the panel, channeled with a tube to the bottom front. I believe they used to do that, and other makers also do this.
Onleaks may be wrong about the name but he knew which one was flagship whic not. So I expect something like the rumored X0 for 1m2 now. |

Lets suppose this one is 1.1 or even 3.
Then 0 would be so much overkill.
Reading comments this morning from people that follow Buks, someone said that it is expect to cost more than 7000 yuans. Which is above $1000.
If even Samsung and Apple are having issues to sell at this price, who's gonna buy Sony?

Well at least it won't seem like too much money for what it is. If it's overkill buy 5(m2). Simple.
I also said couple of times already. Sony needs a SE2 Note Lite competitor phone with no overkill hardware, seriously affordable price and flagship soc. Could even be midrange if they can do it right like P3a. |

Let's imagine this ... A budget flagship.
SD865, 6 + 128, Full HD LCD, same cameras of X5, gorilla 5 , usb2.1, ufs2.0 and metal body. For $680.
Why would you buy this over X1 or X5 when both can be found for this price?

All they need to do is offer something worth buying under 500. 10+ was so underwhelming at that price.
Chip, camera, price. Do these right and it'll attract customers.
I listed specs for this kind of affordable flagship before.
FHD LCD, polycarbonate frame, GG3 or Dragontrail glass, 1 or 2 cams, no SD, 64GB base, flagship soc. Should be esay to keep sth like this closer to 400. Can't do midrange, why not make affordable flags instead. *shrug* |

X10 = $350
X8 = $500
Differences are : rear panel, screen with GG6 x GG5, IP68 , 2x zoom camera and FPS/power.
Considering Japan has higher price, we can assume X8 would be like $450 in USA.
If you just trade the CPU, battery and cameras of X10 ; I think you can still keep it below $450.
One device has SD665 according source codes.
"L4" or "X10 II" ..
This is so cool. Someone recorded Iron Maiden live in Toronto using Cinema Pro.
At least on ipad it looks nice for night footage.
Since I cant see in 4K, not sure how good it is.

The more I look at the specs the more I see it as hybrid between xperia 1 and 5. Probably xperia 3?

One rumor was about X0, X1.1, X5.1 and X3 (Japan only).
And we would have 0 > 1.1 > 5.1 > 3.
If this phone becomes X3, imagine the rest.

Yeah, you can have a 100m cable from the wall to your pocket.
I personally use something called a portable battery and some call it power bank, you can google for it and enlighten your self a little bit.
