There used to be a hexa cam set up
But kimio maki banned it
And the set up included 2 versions
Monochrome wide or fixed focus lens telescope
Hoya telescope solution also tested.
There is no rumor, all of twitter, reddit and any site are fake.

If that's true they are not cutting costs, they are cutting themselves from competition. Even fans will eventually get that they are being ripped off. Low mah, infamous fps, Samsung sensors and safe design choices will come and bite their own a**
If they wanna cut costs they should stop making crappy midrange phones no one wants to buy. |

Nobody knows the detail about the new generation.
MAXJ who stolen the hexa cam and foldable rumors form someone, now can speak nothing.

They were also aiming to cover 14-224mm by using fixed focus lens.
They called it real computional photography
Unfortunately I can't tell u the detail of it, because it also banned.

You mean cancelled? Why didn't the first combination advance? It also cost too much? Because of two huge sensors and aube?
No wonder it's expensive. If they take out one of the big sensors it'd still be a good combination in 2020. But I guess then we wouldn't have aube.
