Personally I'd rather Sony go back into the tablet business rather than foldable phones but unlikely to happen.

As far as I can tell, they are still working on mark 2 for 10 Plus which everyone seems to know it |

Is a compact, as mentioned here on notebookcheck.net, still in plan ? |

Ace II ?
Do you mean high res with same speed?
Because it is a huge paradox.
At sony website there is a pool asking what's more important on a phone: battery, IQ, screen size or phone colour.

Personally I don't care, as long as it is mid-range-ish or better. Certainly 4k screen would seem pointless, I'm not a big fan of 21:9 screens, but whatever. A decent if not absolutely top-spec camera system. Enough battery to last a day of non-intensive use. Support for a few Android updates. A headphone socket and good quality audio would be really nice. And make it small ! I don't want to spend anywhere near a four-figure sum. I need something to replace a Z5 Compact.

"Although it might not be obvious from the wording in the official statement, the Xperia 1 II doesn't actually feature ZEISS lenses. A Sony representative told us that the flagship still packs Sony lenses, but they have been calibrated by ZEISS."
