It's off by default and the setting isn't super obvious, but it does work. When you open lens selection there's a Stabiliser option top right.
I'm seeing lots of quick hands on and previews by people who don't seem to know what they're doing giving false information.

Expansys selling Xperia 1 for 1.63K SGD, thats like more than 1K USD.
Plus tax its 1.74K SGD. 
Damn, gonna need to wait for some price reduction before I can afford this overpriced device.

If only they ship it to SG, that'd be great cuz its waay cheaper. I shall wait to see if there are any other vendors bringing the phones in. |

I remember to read that people got XZ2P in HK for less than $800 after few days when the rest was paying $1000.
Did you look at ebay already?
According to photos, distortion correction of UWA seems to be beyond excelent.

Not convinced raw NR is doing difference.
In the end 12MP is going to show less noise anyway.
Only difference is probably AS will use lower ISO at night.
Something people could spend 5s to set. |

For the people who owns the Xperia 1, can anyone confirm that it has TV-out via USB-C? Coz the demo unit does, but am not sure about the final product.

It looks like you lose the left and right axis of the EIS - it's really not that bad and I don't see anyone else doing it significantly better |

This was quite sad to watch. Zackbuks says there's an update to be released on the 6th but the reviews are already popping up. I don't think they would have shipped the phone if the update was going to make things a lot better. |
