I stil think the 180 means 180g and the 16 16 means dual selfie 16MP.
Is it true the phone is not glass? While ago I read a comment ( dont remember if on XB or weibo) that someone heard from a supplier in Thailand that rear is not glass. Something tougher and lighter . . |

yeah, I'm pretty sure it's about camera, but this one is hard becasue number can mean anything, MP, F, um etc |

Whatever the cam specs, as long as they offer all features A9 will earn in march.
AI used to improve AF, real time tracking and animal eye AF .. And regular people eye AF of course ...
I need too the video downsampling from 4K to 1080p.
80Mbps instead of 54 is also welcome for 4K.
No frame drops during 4K HDR ....

I just read over at Sumahoinfo.
Sony will have high speed AF dual pixel sensor, so that's probably what 2P stands for.

Is dual pixel autofocus superior to sonys current autofocus tech
I wonder why sony is late in adopting it as most other manufacturers have dpaf equipped sony sensors
Samsung was the first to bring it to mobile right? |

Dual Pixel AF belongs to Canon.
Samsung has own sensors and pays Sony to make an exmor version.
Sony pays to Canon to use the tech to make other sensors ..
Sony cameras use hybrid AF. Just do not know why this was given to C4, C5 and M5 with android 6 but not to z2, z3 and z4.
All exmor with DPAF are 12MP/1.4micron exactly.
So, they use dpaf on their own but give qpaf which is twice faster to huawei. Interesting.
Many phones focus much faster than Galaxy.... Nex, U12+, iphone Xs and pixel3 are ...

They are using AI to improve the Hybrid AF of A9, already the fastest AF among FF.
DP is not necessary if Mobile did the same. |

26 is exactly half of 52
I think it is 26mm for the main and 52mm for the zoom camera (2x zoom)
Huawei M20 has 27 and 54 and it has 2x zoom.
as for the VXBDTAHZ, are these first letters for Sony's sub-brands/product names?
Like X-Reality/X1 processor + Bionz/Bravia + Dual-Shock + Triluminos + Alpha/Aibo? |

Huawei has 80mm.
They cant drop monochrome without losing the iso12800 video, better high iso performance and BW effects.
I am not convinced those "telephotos" have true optical zoom.
No movement and only 3mm space? |
