Sounds interesting but I'm not convinced yet. I smashed my XZ2 Compact and now I have a Huawei P Smart as a short term solution. I really dislike the UI but its opened my eyes to many things. This budget phone has 83% STB, LCD screen but still 9mm thick. Yeah its big but still comfortable and light. I don't want no bullshit excuses from Sony and compromise, it has been achieved by everyone. Moving away from Sony hasn't even been stressful so its last chance for them in my eyes. EMUI has a cool theme engine, take note Sony.

The main thing that sony seems to be lagging behind is the disparity between physical dimensions, weight and the battery capacity
With xz4 rumored to be having a large chassis i hope it has 4000-4300 mah battery although some rumours point to 3800 which would be disappointing

In such a huge body of the Z4 (16.5 cm) everything below 4200 mah is bullshit.

I said that ...

Someone told me a 21:9 requires to be at least 144Hz and in his opinion Sony woud go beyond(240Hz) because of the super slowmo 4K.

This person comments on tech site of my country, but I think he lives in Russia.
He even says stuff about HTC U13+ ( looks like to be the device used by Qualcomm to announce 855) .

My guess: the 6.6" 4K 240Hz oled from Sharp, 8K recording and graphene battery.

Am I right?

I have no expectation for Sony for only battery this time, just sd855 is better in performance/watt compare with sd845

We never know...

LG, Sony and Samsung have own batteries.
If all them make a 4000 mAh , does not mean all will have same size/weight.

We do not know if the glass panel used is thicker than other brands.
Even Z4 ( one of the lightest phones) does not feel any light ...

We would have to measure weight of each component to know why they are heavier..

I think this is unsolvable unless we use his hint "what brand do you love", which is obviously "sony" in this case.

tonny, are you sure we don't have to use your cat's coding "2P031416265216180" to solve this?
